Hi thar.
I bought a lovely Remington 870 Tactical today (the neat parkerized green one)
which I guess is my first "Black gun" (the m14s doesnt really count)

One I saw at epps a while back had a ghost ring rear sight,
the one I bought has no rear sight (groove, front bead)

I would like ghost rings eventually,
but upon looking it over, I can't see where the ghost ring would be installed.. there's no slot or anything.

Does a gunsmith like..drill it in there or some such?

thanks for any info!

happy to join the club!

You need to talk to fourm member "Arwen Ace" .....best prices, fastest turn around times and quality workmanship. His company name is Tactical Ordnance . He's got the best price I've seen on the scattergun tech sights. I'm in Barrie and I drive my stuff to him, to get work done.....I like the drive and he's a good guy to talk to.

Very highly recommend Casey.:)

That trac tech thing looks neato..
am I correct in assuming I can mount an optic to it if I feel the want later?

agreed on the one point sling..id like one of those.

all in good tiiime...
as for the trac tech thing, do I simply bring my 870 to a gunsmith, pay, wait, and come back and get it with the thing attached? or do I need to order stuff etc?

thanks for the info and help!

I'm sure you could mount a picatinney rail to the top of the receiver and then use a optic.

Casey at Tactical Ordanence supplies and installs the scattergun tech sights at a very reasonable price......I had both guns, sights installed and back in my hands in 24 hours.

send me a private message if you want to know the total price.

Yes, if the Trak-Lock is installed per the written directions.

Read the installation directions yourself and then be very certain that whomever you get to install the sights has read and understood them - before you leave your shotgun. If the holes are drilled inexactly, you'll wish you did it yourself.:puke:
