Just a quick question to all who owns one...do you like it? I own one and when looking for one I was warned of poor QC issue's, Bad fit and finish, urilable ect.

Well I always take peoples opinions with open arms, but I do like to forge my own on things so I went ahead and bought it.

Does anyone else love their 870 Tactical? who know's maybe I got lucky but I've had it for a good while now and its been 100% reliable with 00 buck, slugs, and cheapo federal target. Fit and finish have been exelent and I am an addmited stickler for a nice fit and finish and nothing on this gun bothers me.

Just for curiosity's sake I want to know if anyone else has similar experiances as they tend to get some flak...I just cant see why with my example.

I got one, personally I think it's great never had any issues and there's a good selection of products to customize it. (disclaimer: I'm not rough with my firearms, no cheap ammo / religiously cleaned)

I just massage the G96 into the finish every now and then. The 870 park finish seems to just drink it up. If you treat it like this, it won't rust.
 
My front sight fell out on the first shot lol!! I just super glued it back in, has held up great since no problems!!!Have had it out in the snow,rain no rust yet! Atleast 2000 rounds through it! Super fun gun, would recommend one 100%.
 
I have one, works fine. I used car wax for the rust issue, solved that (and no, it's not shiny now, the wax is just 'stickier' in the finish).

I found the breacher choke a bit aggressive -- tore my pants, chewed up gun cases, etc., so i took the points down a bit. the clean steel won't take cold blue, anyone know what will darken it?
 
Had one. Feeding issues made me flip it. It was the good 870 Tac in OD Green, not the cheaper 870 Tac Express.

I bought a Mossy 590 instead and NEVER looked back. The 590 is waaaaay better than the 870 Tac.
 
I have one of the new 870 Tacticals with the one piece mag tube.

Definately different, improved function and fit/finish.

Very happy with it.

About 500 rounds through it, and I havent cleaned it yet.
 
I have a tan remmy 870 tactical. I'm no expert but so far it's been great. I really wanted a mossy 500 tc but never found one. Eventually I did and after all said and done in glad I ended up with the 870 tactical.

I have one of these my front sight is also super glued ... I put a houge stock on it and a bushnell first strike love it the only time it Jam was from me not running the pump correctly I also got a 20" rifled barrel that I put on for hunting whitetail deer in the bush ... Don't beleve the review for the first strike on you tube I have put several boxes of heavy loads including full power slugs and the glass hasent cracked
