Alright guys looking to do a new build and I am trying to get the best of both worlds and hitting road blocks in my decision making.

Must haves:
3.5" ability
14-18" barrel and 26-28" barrel
Pump with shell change ability
Rail system
Light system
Reliable

Wants:
Choke tubes in all barrels
Integrated light system
Custom stock length
Velcro side saddle
Tube extensions

Uses:
Home defense/predator defence(farm)
Turkey,crow,duck,geese,varmit
Bustin clays

Conclusions to this point:

870 super magnum:
Pros
3.5"
Chokes available
Magpul stock (adjustable enough)
Surefire weapon pump
All barrel lengths and cheap
Lots of aftermarket support
Buy reciever only

Cons
Only long barrels are 3.5" rated
Not an all weather gun
Reliability can be an issue
Who doesn't own an 870

super nova tactical:
Pros
3.5" and all barrels 3.5"
Great all weather
Reliable
Great factory parts
Best cruiser ready system Imo
Comes with adjustable stock

Cons
After market sucks
No space for Velcro side saddle
No integrated light
Barrels are 300-500$
Factory barrels come fixed choke (after markets all mobil)
Can't (haven't seen) find reciever only

Please chime in and if I'm wrong on any points please correct me!!! Looking Basicly for an easy change system from CQB(yes 18" is CQB imo) to a goose gun. If it was an ideal world the Benelli tactical would have a changeable choke barrel with it 18" and a fore arm light system with space for Velcro. Let me know your thoughts, currently own and might sell my Derya mk10 love the tactical for hunting gun style took a turkey no problem with the 18" barrel and my buddies had trouble with their 26" barrels.

Thanks guys!

I only have experience with the 870. I would trust in Remington. My father bought one back in the early 1950s, they were called "Wingmaster" back then, a 20 gauge with 2 3/4 inch chamber, a couple of years later he had the gun poly-choked. That was the only time it has ever been to a gunsmith. More than 60 years of service.

Lol no clue why I put semi there don't want a semi because of the no shell change ability.... Pump action!!! Not semi.
Kinda thought that, I have a few 870 wingmasters set up for tactical and steel plate shotgun. Great gun, the wingmasters have a far superior action compared to the 870s and have lots of available toys and furniture available for them. Easy to do a bit of disconnect work to and a good trigger. That being said the benelli super nova is also a nice gun, I have just purchased one this past year but have only got 5 or 6 hundred rounds through it. The action is a bit different than the wingmaster and has had a bit of a learning curve to get the speed up to the wingmaster and is almost there for me. I seem to like the feel and the way it pulls up for me and am now leaning towards it over the wingmaster by just a bit. Not as many toys for the benelli but its good right out of the box and am not interested in putting on a side saddle that for me are a thing of the past with much better options now. After all is said and done I would go for the benelli for what its worth.
I am not sure what you mean by no shell changeability

Being able to do a quick slug change over without emptying the tube if you have bird or 00 in the tube. I've heard in 870 that it can easily double feed of you try to tac load one with the tube full? Am I wrong in that?

Benelli has the push button for cruiser ready or for slug change over with no possible double feed from the tube.

Semis needing to be charged till the tube is empty before you could add a slug.

You can add a slug anytime there is room in the mag on either just shoot and before you cycle the action put the slug in than when you cycle it the slug will be chambered or put the slug in and press the action release and eject a live round and chamber the slug. Another thing that is nice about the benelli is the safety is in front of the trigger where it should be.
I should have said as long as there's room in the mag to hold another round

Ok that makes sense someone told me with the 870 it has the potential to jam or double feed if the tube has rounds in it and you try to combat load one in the empty chamber.
