I know they're not a sponsor so I won't provide a link, but it's not hard to find the website and the promotion....
 
I am set to receive my PAL card Feb 6. Does anyone know if I can put a deposit down to hold it at this price before I have my physical PAL card?
 
That store is so overpriced they would have to be offered at 50% off for me to purchase one.....but thanks for the info im sure some of the gunutz will buy one

It seems to be on par or less than every other hunting store within an hours drive of me (about 6 or 7 of them). Do you know where I'd be able to get a new 870 for less than $399?
 
Be prepared to have all your personal and PAL info entered into their database with any gun purchase.

Hey Beazer, I know just about any gun shop will let you put a deposit, or buy outright, a gun and hold it for you until your PAL arrives.Cabelas, however, is a corporate entity, and I seriously doubt they will let you do anything without your PAL number, I could be wrong, but I doubt it. The good news is that you are looking to buy the most popular shotgun ever made,lol, and if you miss out on this deal at Cabelas, don't worry, you will find one on sale for sure when you have your PAL,lol. Many of the site sponsors here will have it, look around in the sponsors section and I'm sure you will find one at a competitive price,,,, and they will take your money and hold it for you!

If you have a good friend with a PAL ask if he'd consider putting it on layaway for you. When your PAL comes in, get them to change the paperwork over to your name to complete the sale.

This, or just pick one up off the EE! I just gave away my 870, and see pretty sharp deals on their from time to time as well.
