Remington 878 Automaster. Anything special?

Hello all,

I have an old Remington 878 Automaster that has seen better days. I'll post pics and do the talking later..................

The bad: The bluings gone, the barrels dented, the forarms cracked, the trigger guards scratched, the butt plates not true................
*Takes another deep breath*
The stocks wrists missing wood, the butt plates screw is lose aaaaaaaand the frames got Proverbs 12:27 etched on it. <<< (know a bad this in my mind.)

BUT!!

It's got a brand spankady new bolt in it thats only seen 25 rounds and a brand new Piston Assembly. Both are around $60 each from what I understand.

So, how much would you say this old Remys worth?

Don`t spend any more on it. Not in very good condition, you can get them for 150 to 225 in good condition at most gun shows.

Ya, it probably was a first gun for someone and thay got alittle too "first gun" close.

I wasn't really planing on putting anymore money into it but maybe refinish the stocks alittle.
