Yes, I'm aware of the mixed reviews and issues with this shotgun but I kinda like it. It's about as weather proof as could ever be made, I like the heavy ribbing for gripping with gloves and really like the position of the slide release.
Anyway, when I got it I checked the recall website and found it was an earlier DOM and was not affected - perfect. I foolishly did not take a screenshot showing this. Now, many years later I have decided to sell it. Naturally, the first question I get - has the recall been completed and does it have the dimple proving this. Nope. The problem is that the recall website, which would have proved this one was exempt from the recall group, is now a deadlink - probably a victim of the bankruptcy.
There are literally hundreds of results that come up when I search the recall and every single one of them (that I can find) simply provide the same info and a link to the same dead site.
Looking for some assistance - does anyone know a listing of DOMs that might show what I need to show - production dates by serial number and year so I can show mine is prior to the defective/recall group?
