Joshals, I believe williams makes front sight ramps for plain barreled shotguns in different heights. you would need to weld, solder or epoxy it onto the 14" barrel then drift youre xs front blade into it. Brownells carries them. Or are you talking about a 14" Dlask barrel? I believe Josef can make the front blade any height you need. hope this helps
I am considering the purchase of a dlask 14" barrel but was confused on what to do at that point: either leave the dlask stock blade or try to replace it.
In other words, I'm looking for the best advice on how to keep the sights I have but shorten the barrel down to 14"
Ah, I see. Give Dlask a call and ask if you could send him a front sight ramp to affix to your new barrel. I would think that would be possible for a reasonable fee, or you could tackle it yourself, or find a gunsmith to do it. More than possible
