So I make my weekly pilgrimage to LeBaron on my lunch hour today to pick up a couple things, and as I approached the Checkout counter, I notice a small display of Remington .22lr High Velocity Hollow Points in 1400rd pails for $58.....a bucket of 22 ammo?...hell yeah!...I'm in! Don't really know what to expect from this stuff, but for the money I couldn't say no. Any input or opinions?

I've bought some, works good for me in my Ruger 10-22, Glock with Advantage Arms conversion kit, Savage FV-SR... PLINK PLINK PLINK!!!

Cheers
Jay

Yup! It's a good value. I'm about 200 rds into my bucket. 1 failure to feed so far, but to be fair it was with a brand new mag, so I can't say 100% it was ammo failure.

Lebarons price is great at $58. I bought my bucket at a local retailer and paid $69.

I just bought 4 Buckets from Fishing World
My GSG absolutely loves this stuff. Haven't found it to be crazy dirty.
After a full 1400 round bucket with zero FTF I'm not convinced by the naysayers that suggest it it garbage ammo that will only lead to disappointment

My 0.02¢

Friends don't let friends shoot remington rimfire ammo! Every semi auto I have owned hates that crap. Ends up getting used in the lever or bolt actions.

Great price, but garbage ammo, as most remington rimfire ammo is.

I stay away from Remington .22 as they seem to have a real high failure rate, and are really dirty.

I concede the reliability point with the cheapest bulk packs from Remington. I don't remember what it was called, but had quite a few from a box of 325 that apparently did not receive priming compound. The Federal bulk boxes were better, but as with all cheap stuff did have a few failures. It is meant for plinking, and it does that fine though. The Thunderbolt round from Remington is not deserving of the same label, given the right gun is accurate. The Yellow Jacket is a superb varmint waster: Haven't shot these since I was a boy, but I want to get a few bricks for comparing accuracy with a couple other types.

I liked the first bucket so much I needed another. This stuff feeds and fires very well in my Mossberg 715T Flat Top. Dirty on the hands as mentioned, but zero fail to fires, zero fail to ejects, and perhaps 2 or 3 fail to feeds in the first bucket. Great deal for plinking :)

Shoots fine in my 10/22 rifle and 22/45 pistol, no feeding problems or anything else and I have fired a pile of it, so many haters on this thread that don't know what they are talking about.
