I would like to know what the difference between Remington chokes and Remington Probore chokes. Is there a thread difference or is it extended versus flush the difference. Can I get a flush FULL choke that will fit a barrel that uses probore chokes?
Thanks
Mark

Totally different Mark and will not interchange. First thing you will notice is one threads on the front of the tube and one at the rear.
There is also a very rare square thread briley that remington fitted in some 85 and 86 made guns before the rem choke came out which is different again.

Yes there are flush full choke pro bore out there but not sure where in canada. I know midwestgunworks has them state side for about 25 bucks each. All of my pro bore are extended.

Thanks for the reply. All of my probore are extended as well. I have a barrel coming that is threaded for rem chokes that is why I asked. I will start looking for some chokes after the barrel arrives and I know for sure what I need.

No problem. Regular rem chokes are real easy to find so if you need those it will be no issue. 12 ga pro bore are much tougher to locate but nothing like the pro bores I bought for my remington 28ga and 410. Those were just about impossible to find anywhere and I finally got the 28ga out of texas and the 410 off gun broker.
Take care
