Remington Express Mag Cap Detent?

Hey,

Anyone know if Remington started putting the ball detent back in the Express guns? I read that they'd replaced the detent with some plastic tooth invention awhile back, just curious if they're still using that system...

They don't use that system on the express shotguns that come with mag tube extensions.

I just went to the store and checked them out. The 26" bbl model (which is the one I want) uses the "new" mag cap retention system. It didn't seem half bad, like prone to failure or wear or anything.
If anybody has a SG with this system and has had any problems with it I haven't heard about it.
