Remington game master model 760 30-06 ammo problem

Hey guys, my brother bought a used(older I am guessing)model 760 in 30-06. He bought some 180 gr bullets and they didn't fit the mag. They were too long. He said he tried some 160 gr as well and they were too long as well. Not sure what brand the ammo was. Anyone else have these issues? if so what ammo are you using?

Check the clip and see if somebody has a 308 clip instead of a 30-06 clip. Mine took all the bullets available plus my hand loads.

Its not the ammo. Its the mag. The person your brother bought the 760 from goofed. Try calling the seller, he may have another 760 with a "wrong mag".
