Remington Gamemaster Price

Hi All,

I imagine this has been asked once or twice before but I'm looking for a reasonable price on a Remington Gamemaster in 30.06. My brother's father-in-law has one in mint condition that he's looking to sell after buying a new Browning A-bolt and has told me to make an offer. I'm just curious to know what one of these go for. I've found a lot of threads with people giving their 2 cents but nothing really on value.

Help a guy out?
 
It doesn't have a great scope on it. He actually asked if he could keep it for another older rifle of his.
 
Depends how old. The older ones with the grip-lines in the foregrip are less desireable, I'd say $400 would do it on one of those, even if mint. But the 760s with with engraved foregrip and stock, maybe $450. That's just my opinion, I know to most it probably wouldn't matter but there are buyers who aren't interested in the older 760s. They usually are a hard sell. Trying to coax him into the scope might sweeten your deal though.
 
Thanks for the input guys. After a day at the range to try it out he sold it to me for $325 without the scope. I'm very happy with it.
