I welcome forumites opinions on who makes a good aftermarket fiberglass stock, for hunting, for a Remington 700 LA.
I had a wood stock, but want something that is more weather resistant.

Anyone had any experience with stocks from Robertson Composites in Ottawa? I would prefer to support local companies.

Thank you

I recently read a post by Ian from Robertson that he was too busy and advised against ordering one from him. I don't know how serious he was. MPI stocks in Oregon? have been great to deal with. 3.5 weeks to get my stock from him. Great communication and fast. Good luck. There are synthetic SPS takeoff stocks for sale here often too, if you are after one of those.

I have bought a few from WildCat composites here in Alberta. Good guy to deal with, and I really liked the stocks I have had.

just installed the bell and carlson.great fit.I had to shorten the 2 action screws by a 16th but other than than that it fell into place.I love the non slip "grippy" feel it has too. as far as weight goes it is actually an ounce heavier than the original synthetic stock which I took off.
