remington long action magazine question.

does a remington model 760/7600 (pump action) magazine work in the 7400 (semi) rifle? i swear i heard people say that they use the same magazines.

Yes they will if they are for the same size cartridge ie: 270/30-06 or 243/308.
Smaller case size mag has a spacer.
740/742/7400 mags have a last shot bolt hold open feature, where the pump mags do not.
