that looks great. Yeah the Mark 4 10x or the Ultra scopes are very hard to find these days, but they do come up for sale on EE sometimes.

Nice to see you have the real deal. Alot of advertised "M24's" dont even have the front sight baseon them
The "real M24" rifles marketed by Remington were new receivers fitted with take off stocks and barrels.
A great way of marketing discarded used parts.

It was possible to purchase a commercial M24 rifle from Rem's Law Enforcement line but they were extremely expensive.

I have an M24 but your collection is fantastic.

Where did you source all the accessories? I would love to put a full deployment kit together. There seems to be a bunch of stuff on ebay but not cheap to get it up here.....

A gentleman on this forum was nice enough to let go his collection at a reasonable price, so I jumped on it lol. The parts on gunbroker or ebay are really expensive for that they are plus export/ import fees.

All three rifles are built on RR prefix receivers, which indicates they are factory rebuilds from remington. One of them has a potential "returned" stock, since the stock shows signs of camo painting and wears.

I'm not sure I understand - RR prefix receivers are just another prefix with no particular meaning.

Having said that RR prefix receivers have a poor reputation for bolt cocking cam and extractor issues among others.

My RR prefix 700 certainly exhibited all of these symptoms. By the time both lugs bore we had to turn the barrel back 1/4 thread.

RR prefix receivers dates them to 2007ish freedom group ownership period, so that would confirm that they are not original USGI M24 receivers.

They are for sure not the original receivers but I have not had bad luck with these M24s yet. Every single one has been performing without issues so far. I put 1200 rounds on one and it runs just like how it should be. Maybe just luck....

100% correct w/ 1 year date correction-
RR prefix receivers started in 2006 w/ the introduction of the X Mark/X Mark Pro trigger groups.

OP,
Which trigger groups do your M24's have installed in them?
FYI-
A trigger shoe w/ ridges will be a M.Walker design trigger group.
Smooth trigger shoe will be an X Mark/X Mark Pro trigger group.

Excellent Collection! I see the sling you have is made here in Canada. Is that a genuine M24 sling or a repro? I’d suspect it’s made by Custom Leather Canada (now known as Grizzly) out of Kitchener. They make fantastic slings.

My triggers look just like this one which has textures on the trigger shoe. Isn't the trigger from M24 just called M24 trigger? I think it has some differences compared to regular 700 triggers.

The M24 trigger group was a modified M.Walker 700 trigger group w/ the addition of the trigger lever rear assist spring incorporated into the sear engagement screw boss.

Where do you source screws for detach sight bases. Is there a certain length required. I know screw thread is different than normal 700s.
8-40 vs 6-48 on regular 700s. Length is the question along with source

These rifles come with the bases. I can certainly measure the length for you. Front and rear?
