Remington M700 Experts! I need your advice.

Will a Short Action (.22-250, .308, .243) currently a factory sporter barrel profile drop into a Rem Factory SAUM or Magnum Short action stock?

Just wondering what the dimensional differences are... Or maybe they are the same size?

Thoughts ? Advice ? Experiences?

It will drop in but you'll have some extra clearance around the barrel as the short mags use a bigger barrel channel. The action itself is the same.

What he said,I used a Remington thumb hole stock on my 257ai build.No need to float a sporter weight barrel.

Barrel channel is not an issue. As long as the action is the same length/diameter/dimension as my current crop of Short Action(s) M700, then I'm good to go.
