Beware, Beware, Beware!!
I have tried this ammo in 3 different calibres and 4 different guns. The bullets go everywhere except where they are supposed to.
Tried 30-30 in a Model 94 and Marlin 336c, 270 in NEF and .308 in Remington Model Seven. Just wasted $250 for useless bullets as far as I'm concerned.
Could not even get to the point where I could start sighting in.
Anybody else with the same experiences??

Sorry to hear that charlie. I have had decent results with managed recoil bullets for 300 Win Mag. 150 gr. I'm shooting a Remington 700, and the grouping is within two inches at 100 yards. It's not a consistent target bullet like my reloads are becoming, but I'd say the bullets are at least fair out of my rifle. Noise and recoil are indeed reduced compared to full house loads, but not by half as they claim. Could be just the way I'm feeling it.

I certainly would say that recoil is comfortably reduced ,noise level seems not too bad but accuracy is not even in the ballpark! I'm glad to hear that you are having success with these bullets but I do think the Remington claims about same point of impact are outrageous.
The way it looks to me is that success with these bullets is more a hit and miss affair than a guaranteed thing. Further, I had no success with Remington Corelokt 150 Grain in the Model Seven either, however Winchester Ballistic Silvertips gave me less than 1 MOA in three successive 3 shot groups with a clean, cool barrel. I contacted Remington about this problem but they haven't been kind enough to even respond.
I bought the Model Seven specifically because I am disabled from a broken neck and put myself at risk of being paralyzed by shooting a gun with recoil. My thinking was that if I bought a Remington gun for use with Remington Reduced Recoil ammo I would be o.k. but I just wasted almost $900 bucks and will be trading in the gun today, only 2 weeks after buying it.
It was only after noticing the accuracy problem with the Model Seven that I tried the other calibres, hoping to find an answer to my problem. It looks like I will have to stay with my Ruger Mini Thirty which I don't really like because it is not very accurate either, but at least it is consistent which the reduced recoil ammo wasn't.
Cheers

A buddy was going to Ottawa today so I asked him to pick me up a box of 300RUM.
He did but they are Level 1 ,reduced loads =to the 06. DAN>>>

Charlie, regarding that .308 you have in Remington Model Seven, I know of a few hand loads for 308 that could shoot as accurately if not better than the Winchester Ballistic Slivertips you were using, and have dramatically reduced recoil. Especially in 308, which tends to be very accurate regardless. But it depends on the purpose of the shooting. Are you doing deer/moose hunting, or doing target shooting, or both? Some of the loads I know about are a bit light for big game.

This thread prompted me to head back out to the range last night and fire off a few more of those managed recoil bullets, 300 Win Mag. My first few shots from a cool barrel at 100 yards were within an inch and a half. After that, it spread a little. I can't really complain too much. I have not tried shooting past this distance, but I probably will later in the season when I'm 'in the bush'.

If you're tradeing in your gun another way to go would be to get a standard size rifle and shoot 150s if you go 308. If only Deer hunting a 257 Roberts will kill well with very little recoil.
