Remington Model 11 parts

I need a friction ring for my Model 11. Is there anywhere in Southwestern Ontario to get one? I ordered one from a US supplier but they sent the wrong part. I'll get it straightened out but in the meantime I'd just like to get one for my gun. Thanks.

Thanks sp-10. I might actually have the correct part in my hand. The ring was missing from my gun when I bought it, and I was given the name of a supplier in the States from someone on another website. So I ordered the part and when it arrived it did not appear to be the same part as I saw in diagrams that I found on the 'net. However, I just popped over to a Remington owners website where I have been assured that I have the right part.

Do you have a model 11 or model 11 sportsman? Some parts are different like the recoil spring. I think the Frioction rings are the same in both. Do you need the metal ring or the split brass friction piece? (I guess you already have it, just curious)

madtrapper, it's actually a pre-model 11 made in 1910. Yeah, it's the metal ring that I'm talking about. The rest is there, and like you said, I now think it's the right part I have. Thanks.
