Wondering if anyone knows of a good trigger for a rem 600? Will a model seven trigger fit the 600? Looking for something adjustable that can get down to the 2oz range.
thanks.

I have a Rifle Basix varmint weight on my 600. Not sure they still make them though. I would contact them directly and ask the question.

A jewell trigger for a remington 700 will work in an XP-100 action, an XR 100 action, model 7 or a 600 action as well.

You will have to modify the stock if you use a 700 trigger on a 600 action. It will fit the action, but not a factory 600 stock. Seems to me there will be an issue with the trigger guard as well.

thanks for all the help guys. Its actually for my dad, he has a canjar trigger in it now out of a rem 700, and it does take some modifications. I believe he cut the trigger blade (for lack of correct term? The portion your finger engages) off, and set it back so it would fit the 600 action. rpollock is correct with the issues.
Mysticplayer, I'll give him a call and see if that Timney will do:)

trigger for 600Rem

Hey Duck,
I had to replace a Canjar trigger that broke on my Dad's custom 600 Rem rifle. I tried a trigger from a 700, but too much to modify.
Ordered a Timney from Jerry. Quick delivery and fast install.

I had a local smith lighten my Remington 600 trigger to 2 lbs 3oz, no sense spending money on a high dollar trigger when the original one can be made to work very well.
