Being a .280 will up,the value some no doubt.
Doesn't matter to handloaders or someone who covets the caliber. .280 has a definite following. Add to that , .280 is rarer in this configuration.Not likely because of ammo availability. That round is very difficult to find.
If it is in VG or better condition you will get $650 or better for it.
I have Remington model 760 Carbine with an 18.5” barrel in 280 caliber. From what I could dig up I think it was manufactured in 1961. How do I go about getting an accurate value for my rifle ?
