Hi, i was wondering if anyone had any information about this particular shotgun, i can't seem to find anything on google. Thanks.

Goto www.remington.com/library/history/firearm_models/ there doesn't seem to be a model 812 shotgun. But after looking through the different models , I remember a single shot with the barrel release on the front of the trigger guard in gauges 12 to .410 and it is not listed. I believe it was imported from Brazil.

This particular 812 is 20 gauge and can be taken apart, by just pulling off the forend of the stock. Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

It is the same single shot shotgun as the CBC Model 121 (Brazilian Manufacture) or IVI Model 121 (Same I think). I've owned them in 12 and 20 gauge and I believe they were manufactured in 410 and 16 gauge as well. Good little single shot for the money....

Yes and didn't CIL also have a version of it? I'm sure I used to own a little single shot 16 gauge with a plastic button on front of the trigger guard to break her open in CIL. Great little gun, if it was in 12 gauge I never would have sold it, damn 16 gauge is so expensive down here

Yup, you are indeed correct. It was called the CIL Model 402 if memory serves me correctly...
