Remington Nylon 66

i think that due to the shortage of 22 lr there seems to be an abundance of semi autos for sale right now. They are a good gun though. They were renowned for their fast lock time and reliability. I prefer the model 10c to the tube fed 66.

They are a lightweight and accurate .22 lots around for good reason.

I seem to recall back in the day a fellow established a world record for tossing 2x2 blocks of wood and shooting them with one of these fantastic little rifles.

They can be tricky to strip down completely and as the receiver is just a stamped steel dust cover, scope mounting to get the most out of its accuracy can be tough.

I personally prefer them for a .22 backpacking rifle over the Henry survival rifle.

I have 2, a Mohawk and apache both good shooters. But don't use them to much. I bring them out maybe once a year. They are fun to shoot, always fire what ever I feed them.

I had one as a kid and I loved it. I put a 20 dollar pellet gun scope on it and it was deadly on gophers. I was shooting out of a tractor window one day and broke the charging handle from the bolt when it cycled and that was the end of it. I plan on getting another one
