REMINGTON ODEL 710

I recently purchased a remington model 710 in 30.06 caliber. I have already had problems with this gun, especially with the bolt falling out when bolting in another round. Does anyone else with a model 710 (any caliber) had any such problems or different ones..I do like the way it shoots however but the scope had to go.

I've heard nothing but good things about this gun, I'M SHOCKED.

Check the numerous threads about this rifle, it has to be the most UNPOPULAR rifle ever amongst knowledgeable shooters.
I would take whatever I could get for it on trade on a reasonable rifle, 700,70,77, Tikka etc.

Hate to say it but from all reports martinbs is right.
All of the comments I've heard about the 710 are bad and yours continue the trend.
To be blunt I was surprised you made it part of your user name!

I had a buddy with the same problem,He took my advice and brought it back to Whoresale Sports and exchanged it for a used Rem.700 in mint cond.

Take the boody thing back, tell them that the bolt falls out and get yourself a better gun.

DO a search ont he 710 and you wil find all the opinions you need.

And yes, I have SHOT a bloody 710... :wink:
