Remington R-15 or Mossberg MMR

if i could buy one right now the remington all the way. might also get it in something other then .223. just look at how its built.

If you are looking for this style of rifle, have a look at the Windham Weaponry VEX. I own one. No problems and quite accurate. Granted it is more expensive, but I think it's a better rifle then the other two you have listed. I got mine through Prairie Gun Traders.

So can I then use legally the 10 round LAR-15 mags instead of the 30/5 pinned ones? Again I like the shorter looking less tactical looking ones anyway. I will look at the Windham ones, but adding 1000 bucks to the build for the SLR to make it non-restricted already hurts. haha Are the Remington triggers okay? Single or 2 stage?

If you really want to minimize the tacticool look, Windham also sells them with wood stocks. I can't imagine what that would do to the price! Nor do I know who in Canada stocks them.

They are made by the same company. With the quality of Remington I would assume the r15 is going to be junk also. Every Remington I have owned has needed work to shoot properly. The r25 would always have FTF. Lucky to get off more then 2 rounds. I could go on about the other rifles Ive owned or about the safety issues Remington has has since the 60's but ill just leave this here and let you guys do your own research before buying.
