My local 'pusher' tells me they are still 2 to 4 weeks away..... But that is his standard line, he actually won't know for sure when he will get them untill he has a tracking # from the distributor.......

I got mine from Reliable in Vancouver but I ordered it when they were first announced as I know the first batch is spoken for. Get your name on the list at your local dealer as they won't last long at the price.

In a 1911 with a Swartz safety the grip safety releases the firing pin safety, unlike the Series 80 where the trigger releases the firing pin safety - they're both useless, because it is pretty much impossible to get a 1911 with no firing pin safety to fire by dropping it.
