Remington R11 RSASS

I'm not interested in a rifle that can only be shot at the range. I was just browsing the Remington LE and Military sites and noticed that on this rifle the charging handle wasn't like typical AR style.

-I heard that for now, remington is only marketing the rsass to military of LE customers... no civilian sales planned.

-it would be restricted as it's just a suped-up AR.

-MW3 is a video game... this rifle is featured in it.
 
I dug very heavily into this rifle...the RSASS is an LE and military only...

The civilian version is available through CRAFM also comes with a $4700 price tag with no optics.

Essentially the RSASS is a side charge JP LRP07 in .308 with a PRS2 butt stock and no forward assist...

I called Remington direct to ask about the availability and they literally told me to go buy a JP LRP07 from my local JP dealer.

So in other words the rsass is off limits but the rifle is very well within a builders grasp

And yes its very much so on the restricted list
