Remington R15-VTR

the search function is not working for me, so maybe someone can fill me in. I stopped in at a gun shop today to pick up a set of rings and there was an R-15 and R-25 on the racks along with the other AR types. I inquired about the R-15 and buddy working the counter goes on with his sales pitch, what caught me was at the end when he stated that they are non-res.

Am I missing something??? To me this rifle is based on an AR platform, and I thought all AR style rifles fall into the res. class., or does this fella need to brush up on what he selling???

Sounds like you should notify the manager, and inform him of his employee spreading false information...
