Pretty sure it was speculated that this platform was originally intended for .45 but the 9mm came to market first, M.A.C. on YouTube had a very favourable impression in his review

My wife has an RP9. It's not bad for what it is. Never any problem with FTF or FTE. Pretty accurate... Not as nice a trigger as my CZ P10F but it was almost 50% less... It won't win any beauty contests...
