Remington semi autos and left hand shooter

I am interested in Remingtons model 742 or the 750 semi auto rifles but I shoot left handed,can anyone tell me if this will be okay? I don't mind brass going by my face but I don't want to be hit in the face-Mark
 
Have you fired one? The ejected brass pattern is not just the mechanical function, but the amount of gas and operating forces. The Remington cannot be adjusted except for cleaning. The amount of gas will vary with different powders. So you may have to do some experimenting to learn about the left-eye, right eject characteristics.
 
a friend of mine is a lefty as well and purchased a 742 however when he fired it he complained about gasses in his eye on ejection traded it for a pump kinda sounds funny to me but I thought I would pass it on
 
I shoot left and hunt with a Remington 750 in 30-06. I've had no issues with either brass or gas in my face.
