Just wondering if anyone is shooting a Sendaro in 7mm Rem mag. I'm having some difficulty finding a good load. Also do you find things start to go to hell when the barrel heats up.

My 7mm is not a heavy barrel but I have tried Burger 168 VLD with Retumbo and seem to have good results. They have a BC of .617 so if you are hunting or target shooting they should work good.

With my Sendero 7 Rem mag I pick a bullet, put in some powder off Hodgdons reloading site, and shoot, it always shoots 1" or better.:) My go too load is 168 Berger VLD's and Retumbo, start low and work up. what are you trying now? what are you getting for groups? what are using for a rest? what type of scope are you using? there are a lot of variables, way more than listed it's not always in the reloading.

I have Zeiss rapid Z 800 scope. I have a bipod and Caldwell rear bag, and also use a Caldwell Rock Jr fromt rest. Currently shooting a 175 hornady interloc Sp in front of 62.5 gr of RL 22. I have tried at least 6 dif 160 bullets and loads. I am getting varying results of 1 1/2' at 200, then have flyers all over. Varying results at 400 and 500 yds. Things start out well, then it heats a bit and starts walking all over.
Gonna try some 160 partitions tomorrow and let things cool after each 3 shot session.

Found a tight spot between stock and barrel. Took her to custom gunworx to really free float thebarrel, and glass bed the action.
