Remington Serial Number Dates (700p MLR)

I bought a 'new to me' Remington 700P MLR 338 Lapua, and am trying to confirm the date of manufacture. I think it is newer, but I am worried that the rifle might be part of the early batch, that had barrel problems. Plus I would like to be sure of the bottom metal, as there are rumors of variances in bottom metal (HS, Badger, Remington, etc.). Here's a picture.

Mine has a serial G691****, which would suggest that it is a 2012 rifle. Can anyone confirm that the serial number 'date of manufacture' system still holds for the 700P MLR's?
 
Remington Year of Manufacture Codes maybe found on the barrel of your Remington rifle [or shotgun] on the left side, just forward of the receiver; the first letter of the Code is the month of manufacture, followed by one or two letters which are the year of manufacture. For shotguns with removeable barrels, the code will be valid for the manufacture of the barrel; maybe for the receiver, as barrels do get switched around.

According to the "Blue Book of Gun Values", the coding continues as follows:

Month Codes: [first letter]
B - L - A - C - K - P - O - W - D - E - R - X
1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10 - 11 - 12
