Remington Smoot Model 3 - what is the 38 cal centerfire round?

I have seen a few of these for sale, listed as ".38 Centerfire Caliber". My question, is the caliber one specifically on the no-go list? They don't seem to list specifically .38S&W or .38 Colt.

I was wondering that as well. So far no one has been interesting in casting the chambers to give me the specs.

They're cool looking little guns. I was thinking maybe a wildcat cartridge based off .38spl could be made for them.

I have a rifle marked 38 cfc that is 38 long colt.....can be made from shortened 38 special.
