Remington Sportsman stock

I picked up a Remington Sportsman 12p magnum about a year ago...which I gather is the mid 80's version of the Express. It doesn't go by the 870 title though. Would a replacement 870 butt stock fit? Thanks for your time!

The sportsman is the same as the 870. I have personally owned one and now my bother has it. He has put every single acsesory on it you can buy.

The Sportsman stock is stained hardwood, while the regular 870 is walnut.
