Hello,

Just wondering if anyone would know where one might be able to pick up a
6-48 tap.

And BTW - you NEVER buy just ONE tap. When using 6-48 -its usually tapping into nasty hard brittle $€£¥ that tends to bust off taps!!! In the middle of a project its a proper pain - even if you get a "bottoming tap" as a backup it gives you soe "wiggle room". Brownells for sure has them but most good tool supply stores has them too...

Try KBC Tools, they have them and they are in Canada

I usually get mine from Luke's machinery, Winnipeg and Saskatoon.

Are you drilling and tapping a new hole or chasing threads on an existing one?

Chasing, threads seem rough.
