after buying the rifle last October, I finally got it set up the way I want it. Gone are the B&C fiberglass stock and the Leupold VXII 3-9x40. Here are the LSS laminate and a new Leupold FXIII 6x42.

Ill be shooting her soon, for now I thought I'd share a pic

Now THAT is a nice rig man!! How do you like the new FX scope? I really like that gun....a nice mix of a Mountain Rifle LSS and a Titanium....what does it weigh?

The FX scope is incredible. I had it out at dusk, and the optics are very bright, should be a great hunting scope.

All up, this 30-06 weighs 7 lbs

Very nice indeed ... so is the new "lightly laced" Avatar.

Think "big bucks" optics are worth it ? IMHO, the light transmissiuon
is incredible. Can make the difference between a shot ... or not.

Very nice looking rifle, very little else you could do to it. I suspected you were up to some new project and have been waiting to see it unveiled.

only thing that comes to mind to alter is a swap of the bolt shroud/firing pin, as it now wears the terrible factory Jlock...

...I might go look for a bear this spring, I got some 200 gr. Lapua handloads to try this weekend or early next week.
