Remington UMC questions??

Hey guys, quick question pertaining to Remington UMC (union metallic cartridge). What are the jackets on the bullets made of? Specifically in .40S&W and .223

In the batch of .40s&w I have the bullet jacket is the same colour as the brass? Haha and my .223 UMC looks like copper but is it?

My main concern is the .223. I want to make sure it's copper as I'm running It through an xcr and don't want to wear out an expensive barrel faster than I have too. Thanks for any help guys
 
Thanks man, magnet didn't stick to either so I'm good to go.

It's just really weird on the 40s&w it looks like the bullet jacket is made out of the same Brass that the case itself is made of.
