Hi, the title says it all.

Looking into buying a Versamax pro with enlarged safety tactical bolt etc etc.
does anyone use this model currently what do you think about it
price wise for what it is, is it worth it (going to be MSRP at 1600$ range approx in the coming order in the fall in stores near me)

PROS vs CONS

Thanks

I have a versamax sportsman but not the PRO. I like it as I'm not afraid to haul it through the bush or drop it in the mud and it always go bang. And it seems to fit me well and shoot where I want it too. Recoil is minimal. Only issue I have had is the recoil spring or action spring or whatever it's called seems to be very "loose" so to speak as it opens quite readily if snagged on something. Has happened a few times in a layout blind. The bolt will even move a bit if I set it down on its butt pad on a hard floor. Not sure if this is part of the design or not but it sure kicks the shells out.

I have one. Solid gun.

Heavier than my Browning Maxus.

As mentioned, Recoil is minimal.

It's not the prettiest gun out there but as a tool it works great. I'd buy it again.
