remington wingmaster upgrades.

I have recently purchased a used wingmaster from the late 90's it has a 30" full chock bead sight barrel in 2" 3/4.
It has very light wear. I primarily be using it for upland hunting and skeet shooting. Would there be any worth while upgrade to help the performance of the 870

Possibly having it threaded to accept choke tubes, especially if you want to shoot skeet.

Get it threaded for chokes or shop around for a new barrel.

I like barrels in the 26" range, and shop for Modified ones if I'm buying a vintage one. I like it for trap, and upland. My wingmaster is old (1968) but a more modern one like yours is probably compatible with new Wingmaster barrels that have interchangeable choke tubes. Probably the only upgrade you need for what you want to do. Oh yes, and choke tubes and a decent wrench.
