price on the other guns don't really know, but your Remington you should be able to find a barrel in the EE parts section, you can put the 3 inch barrel on it but still, only shoot 2 3/4 inch shells, look for a fixed modified or improved for the steel BB

Take the barrel to a gun smith and get it reamed or threaded for chokes.

New Remington barrels are usually around $200-250. And they have the crappy garbage bbq paint that gets rusty in no time on it.

A wingmaster barrel would cost you more than the $200- 250 for an express barrel.

I picked up a brand new Express barrel (28" with remchokes) for my wifes Wingmaster last winter for $125 off the EE. All you have to do is replace the magazine cap as well and yur good to go.

Wingmasters are beautiful guns and absolutely reliable (which Express' are not). Mine will be the last gun I part with if it comes to that.

My Express models must be different than yours. They are just as reliable as my Wingmasters, just not as pretty.......

There is a noticable difference between the performance of the initial express models and what is being produced today. I have a 410 and 28ga early run and they function fine, the newer 12 ga had to be polished and reworked to prevent jamming.

Once again, my Express model 870's have had nary a problem, in either finish or function. I coat the exterior of both my Express and Wingmaster 870's with a thin coat of RIG gun grease to prevent rusting.
