Remington woodsmaster 742 BDL delux appraisal

Hey everyone, I am brand new to this forum and it is nice to meet everyone. I have recently acquired a remington woodsmaster 742 bdl delux and am thinking I might want to sell it to purchase a more modern 308 rifle. I know the value greatly varies depending on year, condition, what someone is willing to pay, etc, but I was hoping that maybe someone could try to give me a ballpark estimate of its value if I wanted to try to sell it. If you need any more specific information to help you try to answer my question I would be more than happy to provide you with the info

Remington centre fire autoloaders such as yours have a reputation for jamming and pre-mature wear. This limits the resale value of them. Even if they look good, it's hard to get much over $400.

They go for around $4oo in my area in very good to excellent condition.

In very good shape you could get 5 brown ones.....

In excellent shape a .308 or .30/06 will fetch $450...
