Looking for information on getting parts for an old rolling stock remmington in 22 cal.
Appearently octagon barrel fell out of the canoe and the stock has been snapped off at the grip.
Wondering if worth it to complete it as a project?
reciever seems tight and trigger mech. is in good working order but is badly rusted.
Need a barrel and wood stock butt and fore
Any history and information appreciated.

Try Dixie gun Works, Union City Tenn
If they don't have parts, they can point you to where you might find them.
It will be unfun getting the parts across the border.

"...badly rusted..." You may need to replace the trigger group too. Try dipping one of the rusted parts in CLR to see if there's any pitting.
Gunparts lists a new butt stock at $82.80US plus a buck for shipping. And forestocks for a No. 4. Don't know if it'll fit on a No.2.
Barrels require the U.S. export permit, if you can find one.
