Removable Magazine for Remington 700 SA

I am looking for something like the kwik klip but for the Short Action remington. I have two Remingtons that I would like to convert, one a .223 and one a .300 WSM. Is there anything out there, and if not, why the exclusion of the short actions? Is it a functional issue?

Check-out the V-Bull conversion (site sponsor) or Badger Ordnance or HS Precision. They all make short action magazine conversions for the 700. None of them are cheap. When funds permit I'm getting the V-Bull conversion done to my latest tactical rifle build. It has the advantage of using relatively easy to source AICS mags and is extremely robust.

Call Ed, he'll let you know what it will and will not accomadate.

He's got a set up for both long and short action. Having used both, I like it better than the current Badger model.

At Shot show Glen Seekins showed me his new prototype detachable magazines that will be available soon. They are very smooth going in and out. One of them is a .223 sized model.
