Removal of Front sight on 12.5 Griz mag fed

Has anyone suceeded on removing the front sight on this gun without to much damage to the fininsh

A spare plain bead barrel is only $150.

I suspect it is brazed on so it will not come off easy.

U might be able to mill it down quite low and use the last few mm as a bit of a ramp for your bead sight if that is what you are planning to do.

I will trade you a new bead site barrel for a GR front site barrel 12", providing you havent used the hammer yet! I will throw in a 870 fore end removal tool as well.
