Removal of SKS front sight bar ?

Hi;
I have a firesight front for my SKS but I can't get the slider bar of the original sight out.
I have tried drifting it out with punch and tried the SKS windage tool and it would not budge even after lots of penetrating liquid.
I am thinking about drilling a hole for a screw extractor to twist it out.

Any other ideas other than just putting the old pin back in

I had the same problem. I used a vise and a bolt as a site pusher, it worked like a charm. Just remember to pad the one side of the vise with something soft so that the windage drum has some place to go. I just set up a pic because its pretty difficult for me to describe.
