Hello folks,
I'm trying to determine the value of my Winchester 9422 XTR L/Lr/S.
The serial number puts it at 1978.
Could someone please give me a current value?
Thanks for you time.

To me 700.oo , but on the others guys table, 900-1000.I don't think they are worth that, but seem to sell there. I remember buying new ones less then 100.oo little while ago.

I bought one here on CGN in July 2018 - $850 mailed to me with a Weaver K4 - 60B scope and weaver 1" rings for rimfire dovetail. Your pictures are not detailed enough for me to see what is that scope or the rings. But should give you a start? At least one buyer (me) willing to pay, say, $700 for the bare rifle, as of about 18 months ago? I wanted that particular scope for another application - not really the best for a rimfire. We installed a Williams Fire Sight set - aperture rear and fibre optic front. Just excellent!!!

I think if you were to advertise it for under $1000 it would sell reasonably soon. The ones advertised for $1200 or up seem to be a slow sell. The pictures you have don't work for me to view so just I am generalizing.

My brother gave me mine. Not the world's most accurate .22, but just may be the most fun to shoot - at least my daughter would say so. I had one in .22 mag years ago and I should have never sold it. I supposed they can range in monetary value, but those Winchester levers hold much sentimental value to many of us.
