...That's a huge market of buyers that will need to feed their new handguns so I doubt that sales will be as deep on those.

We could also speculate that those same people used up their recreational budget by buying firearms, and will have much less available to spend on ammunition.

For most of us, it's a zero-sum game.

Maybe, but I'm assuming most of those people who have decently paying jobs will have recovered financially well before November (Black Friday). Hell I spend about $1000/month on firearms and ammo and don't consider myself a big spender.

Not trying to thread jack, but what would someone recommend for a gsg 1911 22lr? I've never bought 22lr for a handgun before, not sure how picky handguns can be with 22lr

I've had good luck with Remington Golden Bullets for affordable semi auto fodder.

Yeah the Blazer deal, I bought 5,000 of them.

I don't count shipping or tax because those are variables that vary from person to person. Taxation varies greatly from somewhere like Alberta at 5% Vs the East Coast at 15%. Shipping costs are another variable that really varies depending on where it's going or if you are buying local and can avoid it altogether.

Yeah, but your cost is your cost. It doesn't matter what others might pay, it matters what you have to pay... how do you calculate if local is cheaper or not if you don't factor in taxes (where some stores don't charge your local tax) or shipping?...
