Removing a stripped action screw....sigh

Depending on how stripped the head is you can try using the next size torx up and using a hammer tap the torx into a good seating depth. You can try the same with a Allen wrench.

I’ve had luck with speciality removal tools before...even in really tiny screes that I thought were hopeless

The other thing that works is still bits that are cut the opposite way...forget what they are called though

Depending on how hard the steel is...
I have drilled screws until the head separates from the shank. The remaining shank is then grabbed with vice grips and turned out.

along with this, I always use a hammer to tap my T handle(holding the bit) gently as I apply the unscrewing pressure. the tap really helps free it up as you unscrew. never stripped a screw/bolt since I started doing this.

left hand drill bits? those plus some good screw extractors (no Cambodian tire) usually do the job. if not a slot cut in the head with a Dremel and something like "TEKTON 2905 3/8-Inch Drive Manual Hand Impact Driver Set, 7-Piece" found on amazon would work so long as you can support everything well

Unplug your drill press, chuck up an appropriate bit, lay padding over your press table then with one hand pushing the drill bit lever hard into the screw turn the chuck with your other hand.

I would try the mastercraft stripped screw head extractor ,, they go in your drill in reverse and will get out the most stubborn screw.. make sure and use a good penetrateing oil first let sit a day or 2 then try .. I got a bad rusted stuck stripped head screw out of a old enfield rifle tried everything else .last try came out like a champ

Yes .............but you don't won't your wrist broke if the power gets turned on.Like taking the spark plug wire off your lawn mover before messing with the blade.
