Removing banded Fron Sight

I have replaced the barrel on my Ruger PC9, the original had a banded front sight secured with a roll pin. With the roll pin removed, I cannot get the sight off ! !

Anyone have experience removing these things ? ? ?

Any ideas ?

Likely press fit, or possibly even soldered in place. Sounds like you need a little heat.....

My guess is soldered.
