Removing Camo Dip Finish

I have a Savage Model 10 .223 heavy barrel that came with a mossy oak dip on it.
The dip is showing its wear and I’d like to remove it. Especially the barrel, it seems to chip off quite easily. Is there any way to remove this other than having it blasted?

Acetone

Yup, melts it off, not hard on the steel or anything.
