Removing Grizzly Arms forend

Hey folks

Been trying to figure out how to remove my grizzly arms forend. I've got the barrel off, but now I can't get the action bars released to remove the forend. I currently have 2 sliced fingers and an almost amputated thumb (only half joking) because every time I slide it forward it slices the hell out of me and wont release. Does anyone have any pictures of exactly where I need to press on the shell latch to remove it?

edit: I've looked on youtube and can't seem to figure it out from the videos.

Flip over your gun, look into the loading gate area, there are two bars parallel running with the action, press them down at same time and SLOWLY slide the action bars forward and out.

Reverse to reinstall.
